That’s always been a lopsided proposition for Russia in this invasion. The prevailing winds blow east and they’d be poisoning themselves as much as anyone.
You know, like Chernobyl which they also bombed.

Do you think what happened to all the governments was avoidable?

It was the one term of their surrender.

IMHO monarchs should lead their troops into battle, as should presidents and PMs. Actually you know what let’s put the whole legislature on the front lines too.

Engineers are rich, right? So let’s blame the working class in this one particular case. /s

Traceur201 said that.

This is part of the reason I moved to CA. As an engineer I’m always going to have some kind of environmental impact, and I think a direct initiative is necessary for the public to consent.
This comment is known to the state of California to cause birth defects.

IMHO part of the problem was that economics was more a branch of philosophy than a science until the 1970s, but the public never got the memo when this changed.
So we get doofuses who act like their economics claims are purely a matter of opinion, not falsifiable hypotheses. Try arguing for a UBI and watch how many chalkboard economists tell you what they imagine would happen, completely ignoring all experimental results.
Now that you mention it, my phone is by far the most reliable alarm clock I’ve ever had. It does DST switches for me. The battery recharges itself. I just never noticed because phones sucked at first.
