I see them every year and have talked with them 5+ times, while they are totally hammered at meet and greets and get drunk with fans after the show they seem sober enough before starting to drink.

I’m pretty sure they are not drunk during shows. IIRC they got rid of one guy who couldn’t hold his drink.
