What do you make of the facts that China leads in GDP at Purchasing Power Parity, and BRICS’ total GDP is larger than the G7’s when measured by Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), with BRICS accounting for about 40% and the G7 for roughly 29% of the global economy in 2024? I mean, to your point, if the gains of both economies are largely backed by “fluff”…who is more primed for collapse? Who is more able to sustain the aftermath?


Taking OP’s comment and yours together…They may not be “Communist” in the Marxist sense, but they are…evidently…a very effective centrally planned economy. Historically the party that defines a market dominates it…So where is the folly?
