Poor nutrition is correlated with poverty and not being on government assistance. Second, those folks you’re talking about will not magically and permanently change and become educated and social contributors because the government took away their benefits. Third, if you’re focused on fraud, waste, and abuse from federal programs that benefit poor people, you’re spending dollars chasing dimes. The majority of the fraud, waste, and abuse you’re looking for comes from our military budget, the largest in human history, greater than the entire rest of the world combined, and comes from a chronic lack of oversight and accountability. Also your position on this issue is quite conservative.
