1·1 day agoOh I got a home server setup with Jellyfin and a bunch of media already, just need to figure out the Live TV stuff (for live news, some soap operas, stuff that doesn’t get torrented much) for it to be 100% complete :)
Yeah Samsung is the only OEM currently implementing shit I care about, I lost hope for Stock Android

God help those fuckers when I finally fall down the TV Tuner + Jellyfin + TVHeadend rabbithole. I’m gonna “Live Pause” that shit or I’m gonna straight up DVR everything I wanna watch and skip the ads.
And my parents watch much more OTA TV than me so you bet your ass I’m setting up every TV in their house with a cheap trustable Android TV stick and teaching them how to Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward. Fuck ads foreverrrrrr.

Perfectly succinct. I cannot put into words how much I hate this, at this point I am entirely fed-up with Android because of this shit.
Nothing more infuriating than reading what changed on a new version and realizing all they did was move a bunch of shit around and introduce useless “”" features"“” meanwhile actually useful features for the rest of us who want to use our phones as more than a toy languish on and on (Floating Windows? Multitasking that doesn’t suck ass? Desktop mode?)Reading the update log on new Android versions has been giving me brain damage since Android 9

The next Steam Sale is supposed to start December 12, so I’d browse around for any games that look interesting to you, add them to the wishlist and wait until the sale to make the most of your money.
If looking specifically thru the Piracy angle, maybe a game that you want to play but hasn’t been cracked yet, or one you want to play the Multiplayer
